About me
I’m a Christian wife and a traveling preacher’s wife, and my faith is the biggest part of who I am. I love Jesus, the KJV Bible, Scripture, learning about God, and sharing what I’m learning with other people. I want my life to point people toward Christ and encourage women to grow in their faith and walk with God.
I’m a very creative person and I love making things with my hands. I enjoy drawing, painting, clay sculpting, crafting with pipe cleaners, photography, reading, and collecting old coins. I love music, gaming, exploring new places, and finding random little things that make life interesting. I can go from making a tiny pipe cleaner animal to getting completely absorbed in a Bible conversation pretty quickly.
I’m also someone who cares deeply about the people I love. I’m incredibly loyal to my husband and my friends, and if I have something that someone I care about needs, I’m usually willing to share it. I value honesty, loyalty, trust, and genuine relationships. I would much rather have a few deep friendships than a hundred shallow ones.
This blog is a place for me to share pieces of my life, my faith, my creativity, things I’m learning, things I’m making, and the thoughts that happen to bounce around in my head. I’m not here because I have everything figured out. I’m here because I’m walking with Jesus and learning along the way.
So welcome to my little corner of the internet. Grab a cup of something, stay awhile, and get to know me.
I still make and sell homemade tea blends, handmade candles and handmade soap — they’re just not listed in the shop anymore. Send me an email or ask me in person if you’d like some!
Learn about the faith
Orthodoxy is the ancient Christian faith handed down through the Apostles and lived in the Church through worship, prayer, the Sacraments and a life centered on Jesus Christ.
Orthodox Christians worship one God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and confess Jesus Christ as truly God and truly man.
Scripture, the Divine Liturgy, the Sacraments, prayer and fasting form a living way of following Christ within His Church.
Icons point beyond themselves to Christ and His holy ones. Saints are honored as faithful witnesses and asked to pray for us; worship belongs to God alone.

POV: it's your first Sunday and you're a little nervous. Don't be — let me walk you through it.
A prayer I pray before we go:
"Heavenly Father, thank You for this Lord's Day. As I enter Your house, still my thoughts and teach me to pray. Let every hymn draw me closer to You, and let me leave carrying Your peace into the week ahead. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
What your morning will look like:
Come as you are. Heaven meets earth on Sunday morning, and there's a place for you in it.
Jesus is the English form that comes through the Greek Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς), which comes from the Hebrew/Aramaic Yeshua. Names naturally change in spelling and pronunciation when they move between languages. So yes, the name we say as “Jesus” is the English form of His name, but that does not mean Jesus is somehow a different person or that the Bible “changed” who He is. The name is different in language, not the Person.
Intercession simply means asking someone to pray for you.
When we ask the saints or Mary for intercession, we are not praying to them, worshipping them, or asking them to get us to God.
We ONLY pray to God.
We are asking the saints to pray WITH us and FOR us, just as we ask another Christian here on earth to pray for us.
Christ alone is our Savior and Mediator, and every prayer ultimately goes to God.
From the Creative Corner
Faith, creativity and the everyday moments God has given me.
me and tyler picked up his friend josh and went to kentucky kingdom's pumpkin fest for a fall night out. yall we had the best time.
the whole place was glowing. pumpkins everywhere, all carved up and lit from the inside, plus all these colorful lights. every display was so creative, you could tell people really put their hearts into them.
there was a giant pumpkin cat we had to get pictures with, and this big frog looking creature with glowing eyes. somebody carved dolly parton into a pumpkin with butterflies all around her. that one was my favorite obviously ♡ and then there was jimothy!! a whole pumpkin with a raccoon painted on it, named jimothy. i love jimothy so much, i was so happy to see him there.
we spent the whole evening just walking around, taking pictures, laughing at everything. it was one of those nights where nothing else matters, youre just happy and with your people. i love making memories like that.
Today was one of those days that reminded me just how much I need God.
We had to drive about 20 miles with almost no brakes because there was air in the brake line. We tried calling AAA, only to find out our membership had expired back in March. We even called our mechanic, Manuel, hoping he could come help us, but he couldn't get to us until after 5 this evening.
So we had to figure out how to get somewhere safe.
We put our hazards on and drove around 20 mph, doing everything we could to keep ourselves and everyone around us safe. About halfway there, we pulled over and let all the cars behind us go ahead so we weren't holding anyone up or putting anyone in a dangerous situation.
We were only about five minutes from his mom's house at that point.
We sat there holding each other's hands, crying and thanking God out loud for getting us that far. We kissed Biscuits and gave our little Boyo some extra love while we tried to collect ourselves.
And honestly, I was scared.
I was afraid of dying. I remember talking to God and telling Him, "Lord, this isn't how I want to go. Maybe when I'm old. Or maybe when You come back soon. Just not like this."
Tyler was praying too.
"Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner."
And I prayed:
"Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit,
now and ever,
and unto ages of ages.
Amen."
Then we got back on the road for those last five minutes.
Biscuits even heard his very first siren during the drive. He got scared and pushed his little head right into Tyler's legs. Poor Boyo didn't know what that loud noise was, but he knew exactly where he wanted to be when he was scared.
With his dad.
And then we finally pulled into his mom's house.
We made it.
Today could have ended very differently. We tried to find help, we took every precaution we could, we kept our hazards on, we drove slowly, we let people pass us, and we prayed through every mile.
And God had mercy on us.
Tonight, our little family is together, Biscuits is safe, and we are incredibly grateful.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers, protecting us along the way, and bringing us home.
We were going on the trip to yknow and we ovbi didn't make it so this is for the blog
I'm really happy about the van. Like REALLY happy.
We're getting the van and doing the little upgrades we need to do, and I'm incredibly grateful. That is such a huge blessing for us and I really don't take it for granted.
I'm also incredibly grateful for Tyler because he has done so much to make this happen. He found the van, found the things we need to put in it, found the inspection guy, found the mechanic, and then found out the mechanic is also the inspection guy.
Now we're just waiting for the money, and then Tyler has a two hour drive to go get it.
I'm just really thankful for Tyler and for how everything is finally starting to come together.
Lord willing, we're about to have our van. 💜🙏🏻
Father in Heaven,
The morning is here, and before the world gets loud, I want to be still with You.
Whatever waits for me today, You already know it. Every conversation, every surprise, every little battle, and every blessing. Help me not to rush ahead of You or become afraid of what I cannot see.
Give me eyes to notice the good things You place in front of me today. Give me courage when something is hard, wisdom when I don't know what to do, and a gentle heart when someone needs patience.
Let me carry Your light into places that feel dark, and let my life point back to You.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Isaiah 26:3 KJV
Lord, keep my mind stayed on You today.
Amen. ✝️🙏🏻
One of the things I love most about my husband is that no matter how grown up life gets, he never lost that little boy inside of him.
He loves his scooter and loves riding around and just being his goofy self. I love seeing that side of him. I love watching him get excited over the simple things and just enjoy being himself.
But that same man who can be my silly goofy boy is also the man who takes care of me in so many little ways. He sends me his location when he goes out because he knows I worry and wants me to know where he is and that he is okay.
And when it comes to me, he will always go to bat for me. He will stand beside me and remind me that I am not alone.
I love that about him so much. He does not have to stop being a boy at heart to be a good man. He can love his scooter, be silly, have fun, and still be the man who loves his wife with his whole heart.
I love every side of him. The goofy boy, the sweet husband, the protector, the best friend, and the man who keeps choosing me through everything.
That is my husband, and I am so thankful I get to love him.
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me another morning. Please guide my steps today, protect me and the people I love, and keep my heart close to You. Help me choose kindness, patience, and love in everything I do. Forgive my sins, strengthen my faith, and let Your will be done in my life. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🙏❤️

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for bringing us through another day. Thank You for every blessing we noticed and every blessing we didn't. Thank You for Your patience with us when we stumble, Your mercy when we fall short, and Your love that never changes.
Lord, as we begin tonight, please let this little corner of the internet be used for something good. Let the words written here encourage someone, teach someone, make someone smile, or simply remind someone that they are not walking through life alone.
Please give us wisdom to know what is true, humility to admit when we are wrong, and courage to stand for what is right. Keep our hearts from becoming hard, prideful, or hateful. Help us speak truth with love and remember that everything we do should ultimately bring glory to You.
For anyone reading this tonight who is hurting, lonely, afraid, confused, grieving, or simply exhausted, please meet them where they are. Give them peace that only You can give.
In Jesus Christ's name,
Amen. ✝️
There’s something really special about knowing you can be completely yourself with the person you love.
I love being his wife. I love being his girl. I love being his princess. ❤️
And I love that I don’t have to lose myself to love someone else.
If anything, God used my husband to help me find more of myself.
I’ve gotten softer. I’ve gotten more comfortable being girly. I love my dresses and heels. I love creating things. I love painting and coloring and making little clay sculptures. Today I made soap from scratch just because I wanted to see if I could. 😂
I’m still the same kind, sassy, slightly crazy girl I’ve always been. I just feel like I finally have room to let all those parts of me exist.
And having someone who loves those parts instead of making me feel like I need to hide them means more to me than he probably realizes.
I love him. I love the life we’re building. And I love the God who brought us together. ❤️

Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I give it back to You.
Thank You for carrying us through the moments we thought we couldn't handle. Forgive us for the things we did wrong today, for the words we shouldn't have spoken, and for the times we leaned on ourselves instead of trusting You.
Please watch over everyone who visits this blog tonight. Protect their homes, their families, their minds, and their hearts. Comfort those who are grieving, strengthen those who are struggling, provide for those who are in need, and draw those who are far from You closer to Your presence.
Help us wake tomorrow with thankful hearts and a desire to serve You better than we did today.
Until tomorrow, Lord, keep us under Your care.
In Jesus Christ's name,
Amen. ✝️
Today is our 1 year being knowing each other lols, we ovbi got married on Christmas, I remember our 1st date like it was yesterday, he showed up (6am) so early in the morning after work, I remember feeling excited & scared I was gonna fuck it up, I was also super Frisson, I wasn't sure what to do or to expect, I just knew he was my person, I had already thought about telling him I loved him, he picked me up & I remember I couldn't let go of his hand or look away, I wanted to hear everything about him, he was foreign but in a good way like I was looking in a mirror at a fun house, the same person as me just distorted, older, more rough edges. He made me feel safe but not just that... he made me feel seen, wanted, cared for. I saw a light I'm sure other women never saw, & I'm certain he didn't see. We drove for what felt like hours but it was only 1, he pulled over by the water next to the louisville bridge & we sat on a bench & talked about life, he talked about work, his mom, his dad, I talked about the same, he kissed me & we walked back to the car & went to church he sat me down & introduced me to people walking by, I remember we sat behind the camera at feild of Grace & he held my hand gave me his bible. I read some & talked with him, we had "communion" I came home with him & met his dad for the 1st time he told me his name & I sat on his rug while he talked with his son, he made me feel at home, I remember Tyler took me to the basement & we watched american dad for the 1st time in my life & then he ordered pizza it was 3 meat, he held me & we prayed together. I wanted to say it again but I didn't, it was an extreme wrestle, I just knew I loved him. I fell asleep & had a dream about a butterfly, he took me home in the evening & said goodbye, I told my mom about the date & she seemed indifferent but I understand considering her past & her pain. She told me to be careful & to trust my instints, I told her I was fine & felt safe. I remember we texted for hours afterwards, he went to work & I went to bed he made me so happy. I have neve regretted it & we've been married for a year in my eyes, we are the same & loved entirely by the lord our beautiful & gracious God Amen ♥
